    PS:
I have seen two footprints on rock. The first one I saw was on a rock in Paladka (near Moodabidri) along the River Shambhavi. Allegedly it is footprint of the Pandava, Bheema. This was when they were sent out of their palace to live in disguise as Brahmins. Apparently, there is another footmark at Kateel.
The second footmarks I have seen are purportedly of Prophet Job (Nabi Ayub) next to what is called the mosque (praying area) of the Prophet atop a peak in the Dhofar Mountains near Salalah in Oman.
Also had read about supposed foot imprints of Jesus in a shrine called Roza Bal in Srinagar, Kashmir. The footmarks show crucifixion marks. The shrine is believed to be of Yuz Asaf, another name for Gautam Buddha (Yudhasaf in Arabic derived from Bodhisatva). Some believe Yuz Asaf is the name of Jesus, Asaf meaning healer.
